世界一に成った実感。 ギネス世界版ＨＰに載りました。
当日、予想されたとおり、いくつものトラブルや混乱は有りましたが、
何とか達成することができました。
ご参加いただいた皆さん、ご協力いただいた方々へ感謝申し上げます。
昨日の夕方のニュースで記録達成を知った方から連絡いただいたり、
今日の朝刊の、中日、毎日、京都の滋賀版の紙面と、
産経新聞の全国面に記事が掲載されていました。
また、今朝・・・何枚か写真を送ってくださいと言われて送った写真が・・・
午前中には、ギネスワールドレコーズ世界版ＨＰに掲載されています。
さすが、カルロス認定員・・・
世界を股に駆けるギネスＴＯＰの認定員、仕事が速い！

事前登録で200種類以上の楽器を申請して、ＯＫが188種類でしたが、
楽器の受付終了時で130余りしか署名が無く、記録達成の１４８に、
足りていませんでした。
その後、新しく持ってきていただいた楽器を審査していただいて、
会場内で、一つずつの楽器と演奏者、そして演奏できるかのチェック・・・
汗だくに成りながら単語を並べた英語で説明で増えたのが１９種類。
そして、事前申請で却下された楽器も、実物で説明して・・・
エントリーしていただいた楽器が６種類で、合計１８１種類。
そして、全員での合奏。
なんとも言えない緊張感と楽しさのの中での演奏でした。
演奏中、会場内を見て回られるカルロスさんに付いて周り・・・
２分くらい経ったところでＯＫサインが出ました。
その時は、カルロスさんが時間を間違えたと思ったのですが、
今思うと、「ちゃんと演奏できてるね｣と言うサインだったのかも知れません。
高校時代の英語が欠点だったボクが、必死で単語を並べて・・・
一生懸命に説明している姿は、世界的な認定員には滑稽だったかもしれませんが、
仕事に厳しく、人に優しいカルロスに感謝いたします。

〔Most instruments used in a piece of music 〕
On 26 June, in Hikone, Shiga, Japan, the Guinness World Records™ record for the Most instruments used in a piece of music was broken! With a total of 181 different instruments, coming from around the world, Mrs Kuniko Teramura and her music friends broke a record that stood since 2001 with 147 instruments, and was held by the Caistor Primary School in United Kingdom.
From electric guitars to violins, from vuvuzelas to traditional Japanese instruments like shamisens, shashins, kotos, from electric pianos to castanets and djembes, harps, native American instruments, etc gathered in an ensemble of cultures and universality sending a message from Japan to the world.
There were even some instruments repeated, but the rules for this record state that only different instruments count for the total (so if there were 3 harps, only one would count for the final tally. Mrs Teramura had sent the list of instruments in advance to Guinness World Records so our international music experts could evaluate each entry and decide if they were accepted or not for the record event.
This record breaking orchestra decided to play ‘It’s a small world’ and for over 7 minutes, the musicians of all ages, performed with an passion and enthusiasm only matched by the moment they received the news by the Guinness World Records Adjudicator, Carlos Martinez, that they had set the new official Guinness World Records benchmark.
This was the 6th record organized by Mrs Teramura, and the 6th record for Hikone. From Guinness World Records, we are sure we will hear from them very soon, as Mrs Teramura is already thinking in what new record to break to show the world the will of Japanese people on overcoming adversity. In her words: ‘There’s nothing like Guinness World Records to bring people together to cooperate towards a common goal’

写真入でギネスブックの本に写真入で紹介されたのは、
始めの「世界で一番長いコンサート」だけでしたが、
今回は、来年に発売されるギネスブック(本)に、
写真入で載りそうで、期待しています！
